Saadi Mounla

Saadi Mounla ( Arabic سعدي المنلا, DMG Saʿdī al-Munlā ) was a politician from Greater Lebanon .

Life

Mounla was a member of a Sunni family from Tripoli . He completed a law degree.

In the parliamentary elections in Lebanon in 1943 , he was elected to the National Assembly for the first time as a member of the North Lebanon . From May 22 to December 14, 1946, he served as Prime Minister of Lebanon . He was appointed head of government by Béchara el-Khoury in 1946 . During this period he also served as Minister of Economics.

Mounla was Minister of the Interior among Sami Solh's cabinets .
