Chalil al-Hibri

Chalil al-Hibri ( Arabic خليل الهبري, DMG Ḫalīl al-Hibrī ; * 1904 in Beirut ; † 1979 ) was a Lebanese politician. From 1952 he was a member of the board of directors of the Beiruts Water Company in the city of Beirut, later became chairman of the board of directors, and remained so until 1972.

In 1957 he was elected to the National Assembly and appointed Minister of Public Works in the Solh government. In the course of the Lebanon crisis in 1958 , Hibri was commissioned on September 20, 1958 with the formation of a transitional government, which he chaired until September 24.
