Saint-Aubin-du-Perron is a village and a former French community with 251 inhabitants (as of January 1 2017) in the department of Manche in the region of Normandy . It belonged to the Arrondissement of Coutances and the canton of Agon-Coutainville (until 2015: canton of Saint-Sauveur-Lendelin ).
With effect from January 1, 2019, the formerly independent municipalities of Saint-Sauveur-Lendelin , Ancteville , La Ronde-Haye , Le Mesnilbus , Saint-Aubin-du-Perron , Saint-Michel-de-la-Pierre and Vaudrimesnil became the Commune nouvelle Saint-Sauveur-Villages have merged and have the status of a Commune déléguée in the new municipality . The administrative headquarters are in Saint-Sauveur-Lendelin.

The Commune déléguée is located in the Marais du Cotentin et du Bessin Regional Nature Park . The hilly area is crossed by numerous brooks and is characterized by the hedgerows of the Bocage . The Ruisseau de la Liotterie brook runs along the south-western boundary of the municipality , collects a few nameless tributaries and finally flows into the Taute .
Neighboring towns to Saint-Aubin-du-Perron are Saint-Martin-d'Aubigny in the north and east, Le Mesnilbus in the south-east, Saint-Michel-de-la-Pierre in the south, Saint-Sauveur-Lendelin in the south-west and Vaudrimesnil and Périers in the north-west.
Toponomy
Like many places in the department, Saint-Aubin is named after a saint, probably after Saint Albin of Angers . Le Perron (literally "the platform") is a mansion nearby.

In 1823 the municipality gave up part of its territory for the re-establishment of the municipality of Le Mesnilbus .
