Saint-Christophe

Saint-Christophe , formerly Saint-Christophe-la-Montagne is a commune Déléguée in the French commune of Deux-Grosnes with 241 inhabitants (at January 1, 2017) in the Rhône region of France in the region Auvergne Rhône-Alpes . The residents call themselves the Saint-Cretulons.

The municipality of Saint-Christophe merged with Avenas , Monsols , Ouroux , Saint-Jacques-des-Arrêts , Saint-Mamert and Trades to form the Commune nouvelle Deux-Grosnes on January 1, 2019 . Since then it has had the status of a Commune déléguée. The municipality of Saint-Christophe belonged to the canton of Thizy-les-Bourgs in the arrondissement of Villefranche-sur-Saône . It was bordered to the north by Saint-Pierre-le-Vieux , to the northeast by Trades, to the east by Saint-Mamert, to the southeast by Ouroux, to the south by Monsols and to the west by Saint-Bonnet-des-Bruyères .
