Salvador Cristau Coll (born April 15, 1950 in Barcelona , Spain ) is a Spanish clergyman and Roman Catholic auxiliary bishop in Terrassa .
Life
Salvador Cristau Coll received the sacrament of ordination for the Archdiocese of Toledo on October 12, 1980 through Archbishop Marcelo Cardinal González Martín . On January 14, 1985 he was incardinated in the clergy of the Archdiocese of Barcelona and on June 15, 2004 in the clergy of the newly founded Diocese of Terrassa.
On May 18, 2010, Pope Benedict XVI appointed him . the titular bishop of Aliezira and ordered him auxiliary bishop in Terrassa. The Bishop of Terrassa, Josep Ángel Sáiz Meneses , ordained him episcopal on June 26th of the same year ; Co- consecrators were the Apostolic Nuncio in Spain, Archbishop Renzo Fratini , and the Archbishop of Barcelona, Cardinal Lluís Martínez Sistach . Salvador Cristau Coll is also Vicar General of the Diocese of Terrassa.
