Sanden is the name of an East Prussian noble family .

history

The direct line of the family begins with the electoral Brandenburg clerk Philipp Sanden († 1672/73) in the Rhine (East Prussia) .

The elevation to the Prussian nobility on March 23, 1796 in Berlin for the brothers Heinrich , royal Prussian bailiff to Szirgupöhnen, Christian , formerly royal Polish lieutenant , and Carl Sanden , royal Prussian bailiff and farmer-general to Budopöhnen, and (for their nephew sons a brother) Bernhard , royal Prussian bailiff to Althof at Ragnit , Ferdinand , royal Prussian lieutenant in the hussar - regiment " von der Trenck ," Carl and Wilhelm sands .
