Career

Mulder played his first international tournaments in 1994 with Michel Everaert . Mulder / Everaert reached 13th place at the Marseille Open. A little later they came in ninth at the Fortaleza Open for the first time in the top ten. On the 1995 World Tour they finished ninth four times and came 13th or 17th in the other tournaments. In 1996 they achieved their best result after two ninth places in Marbella and João Pessoa at the tournament in Alanya with seventh place. They also qualified for the 1996 Olympic Games in Atlanta . There they lost their first game against the later semi-finalists Maia / Brenha . In the losing round they had to admit defeat to the Czech duo Palinek / Pakosta and were eliminated from the tournament. Mulder / Everaert had their last joint appearance in 1997 at the Ostend Open.

In 2001 Mulder returned to the World Tour with his new partner Richard de Kogel . After an unsuccessful start in Gstaad, Mulder / Kogel came 25th in Ostend. In 2002 they did not achieve any top placements at the open tournaments and the Grand Slam in Klagenfurt . At the Cádiz Open, however, they then climbed to fifth place. Getting into the quarter-finals was the best ever result for a Dutch team in a World Tour tournament. The European championship in Basel ended early for the two Dutchmen after two defeats against the Austrians Gartmayer / Nowotny and their compatriots Backer / Ronnes .

In the first tournament in 2003 Mulder / Kogel achieved another top ten result in ninth place in Rhodes . After finishing 17th in Gstaad, they couldn't get past 25th place on the World Tour. At the World Cup in Rio de Janeiro they reached the knockout phase as third in the group. In the first main round they had to admit defeat to the Australian duo Prosser / Williams in three sets . In 2004 they played four more open tournaments and the Grand Slam in Berlin. Her best result of the year was 25th place in Cape Town .
