Santa Clara is a Portuguese freguesia in the Concelho Ponta Delgada on the Azores island of São Miguel .

It was created in July 2001 by separating from the Freguesia São José and has 2971 inhabitants (as of June 30, 2011) on 2.2 km².

The club CD Santa Clara , which plays in the highest Portuguese soccer league ( Primeira Liga ), is well known .
