Sauggern is a village and a cadastral community of the market town of Ludweis-Aigen in the Waidhofen an der Thaya district in Lower Austria .

Settlement development

At the turn of the year 1979/1980 there were a total of 23 building areas with 9,825 m² and 33 gardens on 15,160 m² in the cadastral community of Sauggern , in 1989/1990 there were 24 building areas. In 1999/2000 the number of building areas had grown to 42 and in 2009/2010 there were 36 buildings on 66 building areas.

Land use

The cadastral community is characterized by agriculture. 127 hectares were used for agriculture at the turn of the year 1979/1980 and 103 hectares were forest areas. In 1999/2000 agriculture was carried out on 128 hectares and 103 hectares were designated as areas used for forestry. At the end of 2018, 120 hectares were used as agricultural land and forestry was carried out on 108 hectares. The average floor climate for vacuum cleaners is 22 (as of 2010).
