Radessen is a place, a village and a cadastral municipality in the market town of Ludweis-Aigen in the Waidhofen an der Thaya district in the Waldviertel in Lower Austria . The village has 6 inhabitants (January 1, 2020).
Currently, 30 residents live in 12 houses, 7 of them permanent residents and 23 who only have a second home in Radessen. In 1850 there were still 73 people living in the village. The total area is 186.93 ha, of which 3.18 ha is accounted for by building areas and gardens, 172.50 ha for agricultural land, 6.19 ha for forest and 5.15 ha for other (traffic areas).
Culture
Radessen has been the venue for “A village in scene” since 2015.
