Diemschlag is a village and a cadastral municipality in the market town of Ludweis-Aigen in the Waidhofen an der Thaya district in Lower Austria .

Settlement development

At the turn of the year 1979/1980 there were a total of 46 building areas with 19,153 m² and 48 gardens on 34,106 m² in the cadastral community of Diemschlag , in 1989/1990 there were 46 building areas. In 1999/2000 the number of building areas had grown to 71 and in 2009/2010 there were 45 buildings on 106 building areas.

Land use

The cadastral community is characterized by agriculture. 220 hectares were used for agriculture at the turn of the year 1979/1980 and 89 hectares were forest areas. In 1999/2000 agriculture was practiced on 224 hectares and 89 hectares were designated as areas used for forestry. At the end of 2018, 215 hectares were used as agricultural land and forestry was carried out on 89 hectares. The average soil climate of Diemschlag is 32.2 (as of 2010).
