Zhivko Milanow ( Bulgarian Живко Миланов ; born July 15, 1984 in Sofia ) is a Bulgarian football player who has played for APOEL Nicosia since the beginning of 2016 . His position is that of right-back.

Career

Milanov began his career in 1995 with Levski Sofia. From 1995 to 2002 he played in the youth team. In 2002 he made his competitive debut for Levski. Since the 2002/03 season, he has won three championships (2006, 2007, 2009), three cup wins (2003, 2005, 2007) and three Supercups (2003, 2005, 2007) with the club. In January 2010, the defender left the club and moved to FC Vaslui in Romania . There he became a regular in the defense. In the summer of 2013, the Russian first division team Tom Tomsk signed him . With his new club he had to relegate at the end of the 2013/14 season . In the 2014/15 season he and his team missed the immediate resurgence and then returned to Levski. With Levski he played again for the Bulgarian championship before APOEL Nicosia signed him in early 2016 . At the end of the season he won the 2016 championship with APOEL .

For Bulgaria Milanow has completed 30 games so far. He made his debut on May 9, 2006 against Japan . He was substituted on for Valentin Ilijew at halftime . The game in Osaka ended 2-1.
