The Schlössle , also called Schlösslebühl , refers to an abandoned castle about two kilometers north of Herzogenweiler, a district of Villingen-Schwenningen in the Black Forest-Baar district of Baden-Württemberg .
The complex consisted of a square residential tower with a side length of 11 meters, which was surrounded by an approximately 30-meter-wide circular wall. Presumably the place was chosen after a spring originating there. The castle was surrounded by a loose, scattered settlement that was abandoned at an unknown time. The arrangement and extent of the complex are typical of low- rise castles of the 12th century and roughly correspond to the nearby Runstal Castle . Today only the trenches and a few remains of the wall can be seen.
