It is located on the west side of Schmalen Strasse, north of the town's market square and is listed as a residential building in the Quedlinburg monument register. It is a UNESCO World Heritage Site . To the north is the also listed building on Schmale Straße 20 .
Architecture and history
The two-storey half - timbered house was built in the second half of the 17th century. The threshold of the building is provided with a bevel . The upper floor, which protrudes strongly into the street, is striking. Today's appearance goes back to a renovation of the house in 1912, when a shop was added. The building is covered by a steep roof. The overlapping rafters have large gaps.
