Architecture and history

For a long time it was assumed that the two-story half-timbered building was built around 1760 as the northern extension of the house at 50 Schmale Strasse . After standing empty for more than 20 years, the ruinous building was renovated in 2005 by the qbatur architects' office . The actual construction time was determined to be around 1380, so that it is a building that was built in the Gothic period . The current living space of the house is 110 m².

There is a sign on the facade that tells about the history of the house. After that it was a building ( booth ) of the lower middle class. Inside the house there is a vaulted cellar, a black kitchen and a medieval fountain. The half-timbered gable also dates from the time the house was built.
