The house at Schmale Straße 22 is a listed residential building in the city of Quedlinburg in Saxony-Anhalt .

The building is located north of the market square in the historic old town of Quedlinburg. The house on the west side of Schmalen Strasse is a UNESCO World Heritage Site and is listed in the Quedlinburg Monument Register.
The building, which is also a listed building, borders on Schmale Straße 23 to the north and Schmale Straße 21 to the south .
Architecture and history
The three - story half - timbered house was built around 1740 as a two-story building. The compartments are tiled. Profiled planks can be found on the threshold of the first floor. In the period around 1820 there was an increase. At the same time the house was changed in the style of early classicism . The carved entrance door also dates from this period. There is a gate passage offset to one side.
The building is currently (as of 2012) in need of renovation.
