The house at Schmale Straße 48 is a listed building in the city of Quedlinburg in Saxony-Anhalt .

It is located on the east side of Schmalen Strasse, north of the city's market square, in a corner at the confluence of Dippeplatz on Schmale Strasse and is listed as a residential building in the Quedlinburg monument register. It is a UNESCO World Heritage Site . To the north, there is also a listed building on Schmale Strasse 47 .

Architecture and history

The two-storey baroque half-timbered house dates from the late 17th century and is decorated with decorations typical of the construction period. The upper storey protrudes a little. The front door is designed in the style of classicism . In 2005 the house was renovated by the qbatur architects' office . The living space is around 110 m² today
