The house at Schmale Straße 21 is a listed residential building in the city of Quedlinburg in Saxony-Anhalt .

The building is located north of the market square in the historic old town of Quedlinburg. The house on the west side of Schmalen Strasse is on the northwest corner at the confluence of the Aegidiikirchhof street . It is a UNESCO World Heritage Site and is listed in the Quedlinburg Monument Register.
To the north is the also listed building on Schmale Straße 22 .
Architecture and history
The half-timbered house was built in the 17th century, but its appearance was later changed through renovations. The property represents a large courtyard. This also includes a farm wing, also built as a half-timbered building. This wing was built at the same time and is one of the few remaining structures of this type from this period. There are overlaps on the framework . In addition, the use of the decorative shape of the fan rosette is specified for the building .
