Schwabelsöd is a single settlement in the Bockhorn municipality in the Erding district in Upper Bavaria .

The desert is three kilometers east of Bockhorn in the tertiary Isar-Inn hill country ( Erdinger Holzland ).

The place belonged to the former municipality of Eschlbach until 1972 and came to the municipality of Bockhorn when it was dissolved.
