The Schwangerbach is an almost seven and a half kilometers long right tributary of the Schwalb in the French department of Moselle .
geography
course
The Schwangerbach arises in the Bitscher Land from two source streams about one and a half kilometers northeast of Lemberg . The left, somewhat longer source branch has its origin in a small lake at a height of 312 m on the eastern slope of the Rundenkopf ( 406 m ).
The stream first flows through a narrow valley in a northerly direction and then joins the right source stream coming from the Schoenthal . The Schwangerbach now passes the place named after it, then turns to the northwest, it flows through the village of Reyersviller and is then fed on its right by the Balschbach and a short time later by the Flegelsbach .
At Siersthal it finally flows into the Schwalb at an altitude of 267 m .
The 7.4 km long course of the Schwangerbach ends about 267 meters below the origin of its right source brook, so it has an average bed gradient of about 6.1 ‰.
