Sead Ramović (born March 14, 1979 in Stuttgart-Bad Cannstatt ) is a former Bosnian-Herzegovinian soccer goalkeeper .
Career
Ramović played in his youth for FC Feuerbach, Sportvg Feuerbach and Stuttgarter Kickers , for which he also played 34 games in the 2nd Bundesliga from 1998. His breakthrough came in the 1999/2000 season . After Maik Kischko and Bernd Klaus did not know how to convince in goal, the young Ramović was thrown into the deep end and after convincing performances developed into the undisputed number one. For the 2001/02 season he moved to VfL Wolfsburg , where he did not get past Claus Reitmaier and Simon Jentzsch and made 15 professional appearances in three years. In July 2004 he moved to Borussia Mönchengladbach , where he could not establish himself as a regular goalkeeper and was awarded to Kickers Offenbach after one season . After the loan expired, he moved to Tromsø IL , with whom he took part in the 2009 UEFA Cup . In July 2010 he moved to the Turkish first division club Sivasspor . After ten games in their goal, he moved to the Ukrainian club Metalurh Zaporischschja in February 2011 . In July 2011 he signed a contract in Serbia with the SuperLiga team FK Novi Pazar , but did not get beyond a reserve role there. He came in the first half of the 2011/12 season on only two missions and therefore signed on November 17, 2011 in Norway with Lillestrøm SK . At the end of his active career Ramović completed a few games for the Danish club Vendsyssel FF and for the Norwegian club Strømsgodset IF before he finished his career there.
Ramović was appointed to the Bosnian-Herzegovinian national football team for the first time in March 2004 , but in the further course of his career he came to no use in the national team.
