Sean Dolan (born February 11, 1988 in Chesterfield , Missouri ) is an American ice hockey player who was last under contract with the Lausitzer Füchsen in the DEL2 until December 2015 .
Career
Sean Dolan played from 2004 in the United States Hockey League (USHL), the most important junior ice hockey league in the USA. He competed for the Indiana Ice, Cedar Rapids RoughRiders and Chicago Steel teams. Then attended the University of Wisconsin , where he scored 42 scorer points in four seasons from 2007 to 2011 and came to 118 penalty minutes in 143 games.
He made his professional debut during the ECHL season 2010/11 , when he played for the South Carolina Stingrays and started for them in the following season . In January 2012 he was poached by the Charlotte Checkers to compete for the first time in the American Hockey League (AHL). In July 2013, his contract with the Checkers was extended for another year.
In September 2014, Sean Dolan Dolan accepted a try-out with the Chicago Wolves , but returned a few days later for a one-year contract with the South Carolina Stingrays.
In August 2015, he signed a contract as a free agent with the German second division club Lausitzer Füchse , making his first move abroad and to Europe.
