Sean O'Connor (born January 31, 1987 in Brownstown , Michigan ) is an American ice hockey player who was last under contract with the Bloomington Blaze of the Central Hockey League in the 2012/13 season .

Career

Sean O'Connor began his career as a hockey player in the Canadian Junior League Ontario Hockey League , in which he was active from 2003 to 2008 for the Erie Otters , Plymouth Whalers and London Knights . He then moved to the International Hockey League for Fort Wayne Komets , with whom he won the Turner Cup in 2009 and 2010 . During this period he came in parallel to a total of four assignments for the Augusta Lynx and Kalamazoo Wings in the ECHL .

With the beginning of the 2010/11 season O'Connor took part with the Fort Wayne Komets in the game operation of the Central Hockey League . Within the league, he moved after the season to the Evansville IceMen , where he only stayed one season before joining the Bloomington Blaze at the beginning of the 2012/13 season. After the 2012/13 season, in which he only made 14 appearances, he no longer signed a professional contract.
