Sean Williams

Sean Llewellyn Williams (* 23. May 1967 in Whyalla ) is an Australian science fiction - and fantasy - author .

Life

Williams lives in Adelaide, Australia. He has published over 40 novels and 75 short stories, including The Books of Cataclysm , and with Shane Dix Evergence , Orphans, and Geodesica . The two also co-wrote the series Star Wars - The Legacy of the Jedi . Williams has won the Australian Aurealis and Ditmar Awards several times . In addition, his works have been nominated for the Locus , Philip K. Dick and Seiun Awards. His novel about the computer game Star Wars: The Force Unleashed made it to number one on the bestseller list of " The New York Times ".

Evergence

In 1993 Williams and Shane Dix were commissioned to write a trilogy that would be set in the world of the role-playing game Cogal. After the publication of the first volume

problems arose between the contractual partners, so that the planned additional volumes were no longer completed. The two authors revised the novel, which was published in 1998 as the first volume of the science fiction trilogy Evergence . The three volumes appeared under this title in 2001 as an anthology.

Star Wars - Legacy of the Jedi

The series belonging to the Star Wars universe was originally published under the title Star Wars: The New Jedi Order . Together with Shane Dix, Williams wrote three of the nineteen novels published in the series between 1999 and 2003 . The respective volumes fifteen to seventeen appeared in 2003 as an anthology under the title Force Heretic .
