Seana Kofoed

Seana Kofoed (born August 13, 1970 in Wilmette , Illinois ) is an American actress .

Life and accomplishments

Seana Kofoed grew up in a suburban area of Chicago , later attended New Trier High School in Winnetka and Northwestern University in the US state of Illinois, as well as the Royal National Theater in London , where she completed an acting degree. After completing her studies, she began her stage career in Chicago, including at the Goodman Theater, the Court Theater and the Victory Gardens Theater, when she moved to New York after four years on the stage , where she worked alongside Jennifer Jason Leigh in Proof and with Matthew Broderick in Night Must Case played on Broadway . She also played off-Broadway in the Manhattan Theater Club, as well as in the Atlantic Theater Company and Manhattan Class Company.

She made her acting debut in front of a camera in 1999 with a guest appearance on the American television series Third Watch - Einsatz am Limit , followed by supporting roles in Law & Order: Special Victims Unit and Ed - The Bowling Lawyer, as well as several television films. From 2006 to 2008 she played the lead role of Jane Burns in Men in Trees .
