Susan Season Hubley (born March 14, 1951 in New York City ) is an American actress . Between 1972 and 1998 she starred in around 50 film productions in cinema and television. Including in Hardcore - A father sees red , The Rattlesnake , Night rats or Prettykill .

life and career

Season Hubley was born Susan Season Hubley in New York City to Julia Kaul (née Paine) and Grant Shelby Hubley, a writer and entrepreneur. Her brother is the actor Whip Hubley. She also has a sister, Sally Hubley.

Hubley began her acting career in the early 1970s with minor supporting roles in films such as Lolly-Madonna XXX by Richard C. Sarafian and Patrick McGoohan's musical drama Catch My Soul . Between 1974 and 1978 she starred in episodes of well-known American television series, including Kung Fu (1974) with David Carradine , An American Family (1976-1977), Starsky and Hutch (1977), Einsatz in Manhattan (1977) or the TV miniseries Loose Change

In 1979 she was seen as the daughter of George C. Scott in Paul Schrader's drama Hardcore - A father sees red . In the same year she got the role of Priscilla Presley in John Carpenter's television adaptation Elvis , the portrait of the rock 'n' roll legend Elvis Presley . There she played alongside her future husband Kurt Russell . In 1981 she played again at the side of her husband in a minor supporting role in the science fiction thriller The Rattlesnake, again directed by John Carpenter. In 1982 she was cast by director Gary Sherman in the female lead in the action thriller Night Rats .

During the 1980s and 1990s she starred in a number of television films and series. They were rarely seen in cinema productions. Exceptions were, among other things, the 1987 crime film Prettykill by director George Kaczender alongside David Birney and Susannah York or in John Quinn's drug thriller Total Exposure - hot stuff from Mexico . She ended her film career in 1998 with the cinema production Kiss the Sky by director Roger Young alongside fellow actors such as William L. Petersen , Gary Cole and Terence Stamp .

Season Hubley was married to David Hayball from 1992 to 1994. In March 1979 she married her fellow actor Kurt Russell. The marriage with Russell was divorced in May 1983. The two have a son, Boston Russell (* 1980).
