Sebastian Patzler (* 24. October 1990 in Berlin ) is a German football - goalkeeper .

Career

In his youth, Patzler played for various Berlin clubs before moving to 1. FC Magdeburg in the A-Juniors Bundesliga in 2007 and a year later to the Werder Bremen youth team . He was a regular goalkeeper in the U-18 team and was also regularly used in the U-19. In the A-Jugend-Bundesliga 2008/09 Bremen won the North / Northeast relay, but then failed in the semifinals at the eventual German champions 1. FSV Mainz 05 .

Since the 2009/10 season he was in the squad of the Werder Bremen reserve team, which plays in the third division . He made his professional debut on April 3, 2010 (32nd matchday) in a game against 1. FC Heidenheim . Since he couldn't get past Felix Wiedwald in the goal of Werder Bremen II , he left the club at the end of the 2010/11 season .

In the 2011/12 season, Patzler played at Kickers Emden in the Lower Saxony Oberliga, where the club had to file for bankruptcy in autumn 2011. In 2012 he went back to Berlin, where he guarded the goal for the second team of 1. FC Union Berlin in the Regionalliga Nordost . Since January 1st, 2015 Sebastian Patzler was in the goal of the 1st men of FC Viktoria 1889 Berlin in the Regionalliga Nordost. After the season ended, Patzler moved to the upper division TuS Koblenz on a free transfer . With Koblenz, Patzler managed to return immediately to the regional league, where the TuS secured relegation early on and secured the Rhineland Cup in 2017 .

After his contract expired in the summer of 2017, Patzler switched to regional division FC Viktoria Köln . With Viktoria Köln, Patzler became champions of the regional league in 2018/19 and rose to the third division.
