Sebastian Scheipers

Sebastian Scheipers (* 1985 in Lörrach ) is a German guitarist , composer and music producer .

Life & work

Scheipers grew up as the son of a classical singer and a music teacher in Lörrach. Already at the age of 19 he celebrated his first successes with his first band Jazzattack and released the album "Homemade".

After graduating from high school, he studied jazz guitar and composition at the Basel Music Academy , the University of Music at the Northwestern Switzerland University of Applied Sciences a. a. with Wolfgang Muthspiel , Hans Feigenwinter , Uli Rennert , Jorge Rossy , Matthieu Michel , Gregor Hilbe , Malcolm Braff , Lester Menezes , Adrian Mears and Larry Grenadier .

Musically and compositionally he is and was active in the following bands and formations:

Together with Peter Stöcklin, he founded the company Frisch Luft Music in Berlin in 2016 , under whose label he produces artists such as Moritz Jahn , Katharina Stark and Chabezo. He also composes and produces music for film and advertising.
