Sebastian Tiszai (born April 7, 1988 in Dortmund ) is a German soccer goalkeeper .

Career

Sebastian Tiszai started his career in the youth department of Borussia Dortmund and in 2002 switched to the youth department of VfL Bochum . There he was West German champion with the U19 in the 2004/05 season . In the final against VfB Stuttgart for the German championship, he sat on the bench, Andreas Luthe was in goal. After leaving the VfL youth team in the summer of 2007 after five years, Tiszai was without a club for a few months. In early 2008 he came to the Westphalia division SSV Mühlhausen-Uelzen. There he stayed for two years and moved to Estonia to the local first division club JK Tammeka Tartu . At the club from Tartu he replaced the German goalkeeper Moritz Stehling , who had moved to Belgium. In the 2010 season he came on the 1st match day (March 9, 2010) in the away game against FC Kuressaare to his debut in professional football. After the 4th matchday he lost his place due to injury to Mait Toom , who was in goal until the end of the season.

In November 2010 Tiszai left Estonia and signed a contract with FC Gütersloh 2000 , who played in the Oberliga Westfalen, until the end of the 2011/12 season. At the beginning of August 2012 he was signed by the regional league club Rot-Weiß Oberhausen until the end of the 2012/13 season . He was signed to replace the injured goalkeeper Niklas Hartmann . For the RWO, however, the goalkeeper only played for the second team in the Oberliga Niederrhein . In the summer of 2013 Tiszai moved to Greece for the second division club AO Kavala . In January 2014 he signed another contract with the Westphalian league club FC Gütersloh 2000. This contract was terminated in August 2015.

He moved to league competitor ASC 09 Dortmund in December 2015 via SV Zweckel in the Oberliga Westfalen . Tiszai is currently active as a player agent and goalkeeping coach in the youth performance center for the youngsters of the U15 of Fortuna Düsseldorf.
