The Seltenbach is a 5.4 km long stream and a right tributary of the Eisbach in the north-eastern Palatinate Forest ( Rhineland-Palatinate ).

The Seltenbach rises at about 282  m above sea level. NHN northwest of the hamlet of Nackterhof belonging to the local community Neuleiningen . The spring on the north-western slope of a 320  m high hill, called Kleiner Donnersberg , lies within the boundaries of the local community of Hettenleidelheim . First, the stream flows in a north-north-westerly direction along the federal highway 47 and touches the eastern edge of the residential development in Hettenleidelheim, before it bends northeast over a short stretch in the area of ​​the town of Eisenberg east of the Erdekaut . On its further course it gets closer and closer to the Eisbach and finally passes the southeast part of Ebertsheim . To the east of the residential development of this community , the Seltenbach flows into the Eisbach from the right at a height of about 160  m . A few meters below opposite are the mouths of the Rodenbach and the Quirnheimer Bach .

The Ebertsheim – Hettenleidelheim railway used to run parallel to the stream between Ebertsheim and Hettenleidelheim .
