Sepp Klein

Sepp Klein (* 1983 in Frankfurt am Main ) is a German actor .

Life

After graduating from high school and doing his community service in a nursing home, Sepp Klein first went on a one-year trip around the world through India , Nepal , Australia and New Zealand . From 2005 to 2009 he studied acting at the University of Music and Performing Arts in his hometown of Frankfurt am Main. From 2009 to 2010 he attended the Lee Strasberg Theater and Film Institute in New York . In addition, he later attended courses and workshops at the Institute for Acting, Film and TV Professions , with the Frank Betzelt coaching team and at the Ivana Chubbuck Studio ( Copenhagen ).

During his acting studies he was engaged at the Schauspiel Frankfurt from 2006 to 2008 . In the 2009/10 season he was a member of the Württemberg State Theater in Esslingen .

From 2010 until the end of the 2013/14 season he was a permanent member of the ensemble at the Staatstheater Kassel . His roles there included the title role in The Marquis of Keith (2010-2011), Stelzfuss in The Black Rider (2011-2012), the Handwerksbursch in Woyzeck (2011-2013), the emcee in the musical Cabaret (2012-2014) and Vershinin in Three Sisters (2013-2015). At the Staatstheater Kassel he performed a. a. in productions by Patrick Schlösser , Peter Seuwen , Markus Dietz , Volker Schmalöer , Gustav Rueb and Sebastian Schug . From 2008 to 2014 he was also a permanent member of the ensemble at the Barock am Main summer theater .

Klein has been working as a freelance actor since 2014. He had other theater engagements at the “Fliegende Volksbühne Frankfurt” (2014–2015), at the Schauspiel Essen (2014/2015) and at the Schauspiel Stuttgart (2016), where he a. a. worked again with Gustav Rueb and also with Wojtek Klemm . In the 2018/19 season he appeared at the Konstanz Theater in the comedy The Birds by Aristophanes in a production by Ingo Putz .

Sepp Klein also stood in front of the camera in several film and television roles. He starred in several short films as well as college and graduation films. In the 3rd season of the early evening series Pensionnercops: Every day counts! (2018) he took on one of the episode roles. In the television film Billy Kuckuck - Eine gute Mutter (2019), the second part of the TV series of the same name about the bailiff Billy Kuckuck ( Aglaia Szyszkowitz ), he played in a supporting role the young Ingo Seifert, the owner of a burger truck in Mainz Inner city, which has to close its small business after a warning .

Sepp Klein lives in Frankfurt am Main.
