Sharon Marie Stouder (born November 9, 1948 in Altadena ; † June 23, 2013 ) was an American swimmer .

At 15, she won at the 1964 Olympic Games in Tokyo three gold medals . She won the 100 m butterfly as well as the 4 × 100 meter freestyle relay and the 4 × 100 meter relay relay . She also won the silver medal in the 100 m freestyle . In the 100 m freestyle, she was the second swimmer ever to swim under 1 minute. She swam world records over 100 m butterfly, over 200 m butterfly and with the 4 × 100 meter relay. In 1972 she was inducted into the international swimming pool 's hall of fame .
