Sheppard is a six-piece Australian pop band from Brisbane .
Band history
The name of the band is derived from the family name of three members.

They performed in England, the US and South Africa before their first release in August 2012. The EP Sheppard took just under a year to hit the Australian charts and then hit # 27.
The debut single Geronimo debuted at number 28 in late March 2014 before becoming a number one hit within three weeks . In autumn 2014 Geronimo became a hit in Europe too.
In February 2019, the band performed their song On My Way on the TV show Eurovision 2019: Australia Decides , the winner of which is allowed to represent Australia in the Eurovision Song Contest 2019 .
