Siham Hilali

Siham Hilali (born May 2, 1986 in Oued Zem , Chaouia-Ouardigha ) is a Moroccan middle -distance runner who specializes in the 1,500 meter distance .

At the Junior World Championships in 2003 she won gold in the 3000 meter run and at the Junior World Championships in 2004 she won bronze over 1500 m and 3000 m.

In 2007 she retired from the World Athletics Championships in Osaka in the preliminary stages and was eighth in the World Athletics Finals . The following year she was fifth at the World Indoor Athletics Championships in Valencia and ran at the Olympic Games in Beijing as tenth.

In 2009 she came in 23rd place at the World Cross Country Championships in Amman , failed in the preliminary run at the World Championships in Berlin and won silver at the Francophonie Games .

Siham Hilali is trained by her husband Azzedine Zaz.
