Silke Willrett
Silke Willrett (* 1974 in Stuttgart ) is a German stage and costume designer .
life and work
Silke Willrett studied stage and costume design with Jürgen Rose and passed her state examination in art history at the State Academy of Fine Arts in Stuttgart .
In 2003, together with Tanja Richter and Marc Weeger, she founded the independent theater group “Fly from Stuttgart”, which received the Baden-Württemberg Theater Prize in the same year.
Since 2001 she has worked as a freelance stage and costume designer nationally at houses such as the Deutsche Oper am Rhein Düsseldorf, Staatstheater Stuttgart, Schauspiel und Oper Frankfurt , Staatstheater Wiesbaden , Staatsoper Berlin , Theater Bremen and internationally in De Nationale Opera Amsterdam , Opera La Monnaie in Brussels , Zurich Opera House , Opera National Du Rhin Strasbourg , Opera Ballet Vlaanderen Antwerp / Gent, Opera National de Lorraine Nancy and Opera de Limoges, Opera de Oviedo and for the Salzburg Festival .
The most important working partners among the directors include Tatjana Gürbaca , Andrea Breth , Christof Nel , Jim Lucassen, Johannes Erath , Rudolf Frey and Jörg Behr.
As a set designer and costume designer, Silke Willrett also works for film productions in Stuttgart and Berlin.
