Silvester von Hößlin (* 1978 in Munich ) is a German actor and speaker.

Life

From 1999 to 2003, Silvester von Hößlin attended the Zurich Theater University . During his training, he was hired for a production at the Bregenz State Theater.

In 2004 he made a guest appearance at the Schauspielhaus Bochum . From 2005 he was a member of the ensemble at the Theater Aachen for two years , where he received the Kurt Sieder Prize for the portrayal of Leonce in Georg Büchner's Leonce and Lena . He then worked for several years as a freelance actor, including at the Schauspiel Frankfurt and with the Swiss theater groups Far A Day Cage and Mass und Fieber . Between 2012 and 2015 he was part of the ensemble at Theater Basel . Immediately afterwards, he was employed at the Schauspiel Hannover for four years . He has been working as a freelancer since 2020 and has performed at the Oberhausen Theater , among others .

In addition to his work on the stage, von Hößlin also works as a speaker. He worked, among others, for the Swiss radio DRS and the NDR .

He was also part of the hip-hop duo Every Rapper Counts and premiered in 2019 as Silli de Wit with the musical solo Was Weiss Ich .
