Working as a mosaic artist
- In 1903, Rauecker mosaicked the apse designed by the painter Carl Johann Becker-Gundahl , who also lived in Solln , in the parish of St. Maximilian on Auenstrasse in Munich, which celebrated Mary as Queen of All Saints. The design of the painting as a mosaic and its Byzantine elements are reminiscent of the art of early Christianity.
- Another mosaic work by Rauecker can be found in the vestibule of the extension to the Ludwig Maximilian University . Time is personified with a scepter and hourglass seated on a golden throne studded with shells. In the pedestal of the throne there is an inscription on the left side that contains the name of the designing artist and the executing company: "W. Köppen inv. Zh. Rauecker Mosaik".
- Rauecker's mosaic work, which adorns the canopy in the exhibition building on Mathildenhöhe in Darmstadt, is one of the works known beyond Munich . The mosaic shows the Darmstadt lion with a sword shouldered, surrounded by flowers and animals. The dome is covered with a quote from the Grand Duke: "Have awe of the old and the courage to dare to try something new, stay true to your own nature and true to the people you love"
- Apse mosaic with the risen Christ above the altar of the Luther Church in Bad Steben
- 1903: Mosaic of the Enthroned Madonna with the Child Jesus on the eastern outer facade of St. Joseph's Church in Frangart ( South Tyrol ), based on a design by the Bozen painter Heinrich Told
- Around 1910: Three-part mosaic picture ( triptych ) of a craftsman - a triumphal procession in the Art Nouveau style in the New Town Hall of Hanover , subtitled in the middle Handwerk has golden Boden , with the artist's signature Rauecker, but according to the Hanover Art and Culture Lexicon from the authorship of Julius Diez :
