Singh Is Kinng ( Hindi : सिंह इज़ किंग ; Urdu سنگھ از کنگ; Punjabi :ਸਿੰਘ ਇਜ਼ ਕਿੰਗ) is a 2008 Hindi film directed by Anees Bazmee .

action

The main character Happy Singh is a nice, but clumsy person. When he tries to do something good in his small village in Punjab, something almost always breaks. The inhabitants of the village are therefore thinking about how to get rid of him. Rangeela has an idea: Lakhan Singh alias Lucky, who comes from the village, made it to the leading gang boss in Australia and is only called Kinng by everyone. Since his father suffers a lot, Happy is supposed to bring the child back to Punjab. In Happy, the helper is immediately awakened and he flies off - with Rangeela, who has been designated as a companion. But first the two mistakenly end up in Egypt, where Happy falls in love with the pretty Sonia. He cannot forget it in Australia either, but now duty calls. Unfortunately, Lucky cannot be persuaded to return. However, when he is shot in a shootout and remains temporarily paralyzed, he seems to determine a successor with his stiff finger - and he points to Happy, of all people. He becomes the new Kinng and turns the rogue club into a do-gooder. A rose seller asks him for help: her daughter returns from abroad and brings her fiancé with her. Since the young woman still thinks that her family, which has long since gone bankrupt, is filthy rich, Happy should help maintain this illusion.
