Siv Bråten Lunde (born December 31, 1960 ) is a former Norwegian biathlete .

Siv Bråten was one of the most successful Norwegian biathletes of the 1980s, who achieved international success, especially in relay competitions. Bråten took second place in the overall standings behind her compatriot Gry Østvik in the first ever European Cup competitions in the 1982/83 season , which later became the women's biathlon World Cup . At the biathlon world championships held for the first time in 1984 for women in Chamonix , she won the silver medal together with Sanna Grønlid and Østvik behind the relay of the Soviet Union. She finished sixth in both the individual and the sprint. 1985 in Egg am Etzel , the Norwegian relay reached second place behind the Soviet Union with the same line-up as in the previous year. In the individual she reached seventh place. The personally most successful World Cup was Bråten in 1986 in Falun . In the individual, the Norwegian only had to admit defeat to Eva Korpela and won the silver medal, in the sprint she was seventh and with Grønlid and Anne Elvebakk she was also third in the relay race behind the Soviet Union and Sweden. Her last World Championship was in Lahti in 1987 , where she was fifth in the sprint, sixth in the individual and third again in the relay.

Bråten won her first national medal in 1984 in Vossestrand . With Grønlid and Marit Horgen , she won the silver medal in the relay competition with the Opplands team. A year later she won the title in Fyresdal with Anita Håkenstad and Grønlid. In the individual race, Bråten was second behind Østvik. In Geilo in 1986, as well as in Tromsø in 1987, she was able to win the titles in the individual as well as in the sprint and with the relay. In the 1988 title fights in Tingvoll and Dombås , the athlete, who has since retired internationally and started for Hedmark, achieved silver in the relay race with Unni Kristiansen and Elin Kristiansen .

Bråten is married to the Norwegian sports reporter Ola Lunde .
