Sixto Raimundo Peralta Salso (born April 16, 1979 in Comodoro Rivadavia ) is a former Argentine football player with Italian roots. He played a total of 454 games in the Argentine Primera División , the English Premier League , the Mexican Liga MX , the Romanian League 1 and the Chilean Primera División . In 2008, 2010 and 2012 he won the Romanian championship with CFR Cluj .

Career

Peralta began his career in the youth department of CA Huracán . In 2000 he moved to Inter Milan in the Italian Serie A for EUR 4.5 million . Since he could not prevail at Inter, he was awarded to Torino in January 2001 . In 2001 he was awarded by Intern to Ipswich Town and scored 3 goals in 22 games. Peralta returned to Racing Club in 2002 , who paid him a transfer fee of 2 million euros. In January 2008, Peralta moved to the Romanian League 1 to CFR Cluj for 800,000 euros . On February 23, 2008 he made his debut in League 1 when he came on in the 4-1 win against FC Universitatea Craiova for António Semedo in the 84th minute. With Cluj he won three championships and was able to win the Romanian Cup three times. After four and a half successful years, he left Europe in summer 2012 and joined the Chilean team CD Universidad Católica . With his new club, he finished the 2013 season as runner-up Unión Española . He then moved to CD Universidad de Concepción . He ended his career there at the end of 2014.

National team

Peralta took part for Argentina in the Junior World Cup in 1999 , where he and his team were eliminated in the round of 16 against Mexico. Before that, he was also part of the 1999 U-20 South American Championship, which ended with Argentina winning the title.
