Skarvsjöby ( South Sami Skärvoe ) is a village ( småort ) in the municipality of Storuman in the Swedish province of Västerbotten County and the historical province of Lapland .
The main town of the same name, Storuman , is about 20 kilometers away. Skarvsjöby is located on European route 45 and by Lake Skarvsjöjaur. The secondary Länsväg AC 967 branches off in the village - the roads continue to Lycksele or to Europastraße 12 near Gunnarn . The distance from Skarvsjöby to Vinlidsberg station on the inland railway is five kilometers.
