Åskilje ( Umesamisch Jeanoejåakoe ) is a place ( småort ) in the Swedish province of Västerbottens län , in the historical province (landskap) Lapland , mostly in the municipality of Storuman .

The place is about 55 km northwest of Lycksele on the river Ume älv . A small part of the village is located on the territory of the neighboring municipality of Lycksele to the east (6 inhabitants on an area of ​​5 hectares , 2015).

Åskilje is on the Hällnäs – Storuman railway line . Regular passenger traffic no longer takes place here. Europastraße 12 leads through the village .
