The Skaters Palace is a skate hall in Münster , where concerts and other events take place regularly. For musical events, the Skaters Palace offers space for almost 1,500 people.

history

The Skaters Palace was opened in 1993 in a former assembly line factory, making it the oldest skate hall in Germany. Initially, the management was taken over by the Association for the Promotion of Youth Culture, whose founders also include Titus Dittmann . In 1998, Scheibenstrassen Immobilien Verwaltung GmbH bought the entire site and building, which Titus still uses today as office space.

Since 2010 the Skaters Palace has been managed by Palace GmbH , which was also founded by Dittmann. Palace GmbH consists of five permanent employees, three trainees and several temporary workers.

Events

The "Skaters Palace" is known for its parties and concerts. Three Days Grace , Boysetsfire , Frank Turner , Bring Me the Horizon , Kool Savas , Prinz Pi , Long Distance Calling , Jennifer Rostock , I can fly , Feine Sahne Fischfilet , Silverstein , Chuck Ragan , A Day to Remember , Pierce the have already played Veil , Bayside , Of Mice & Men and SSIO at Skaters Palace. Chuck Ragan recorded his live album Live at Skaters Palace in the Skaters Palace Münster in 2014 .

The "Skaters Palace" is also rarely used for special skateboarding events.
