The 2018/19 season is the twelfth season of the Skeleton Intercontinental Cup , which is organized and held by the IBSF . This race series is the link from the World Cup 2018/19 to European Cup 2018/19 and Nordamerikacup 2018/19 . The results of the eight rounds of the season at four competition locations will be included in the IBSF Skeleton Ranking 2018/19 .

In the women's category, Anna Fernstädt secured overall victory after her change of nationality from Germany to the Czech Republic, ahead of British Ashleigh Fay Pittaway and American Megan Henry . This success by Anna Fernstädt was a historic success in skeleton, because for the first time in the history of the sport the Czech anthem was played at an award ceremony. In the men's category, Korean Jung Seung-gi secured overall victory ahead of Brit Craig Thompson and his compatriot Kim Ji-soo .
