Skywalker Sound is a sound effects , editing and remastering company in the United States . history
In 1975 George Lucas founded Sprocket Systems , a production company specializing in sound design , sound mixing, and sound effects . The company shared rooms with Industrial Light & Magic in San Rafael . In 1987 the studio moved to a new building on the Skywalker Ranch and from then on was called Skywalker Sound .
