Sonndorf is a village and a cadastral municipality in the municipality of Burgschleinitz-Kühnring in the Horn district in Lower Austria .

Settlement development

At the turn of the year 1979/1980 there were a total of 19 building areas with 11,002 m² and 21 gardens on 30,228 m² in the cadastral community Sonndorf , in 1989/1990 there were 26 building areas. In 1999/2000 the number of building areas had grown to 32 and in 2009/2010 there were 35 buildings on 65 building areas.

Land use

The cadastral community is characterized by agriculture. 134 hectares were used for agriculture at the turn of the year 1979/1980 and 97 hectares were forest areas. In 1999/2000 agriculture was carried out on 128 hectares and 105 hectares were designated as areas used for forestry. At the end of 2018, 114 hectares were used as agricultural land and forestry was carried out on 109 hectares. Sonndorf's average soil climate number is 33.2 (as of 2010).
