Sonneck is a part of the community Aspangberg-St. Peter in Lower Austria.

The settlement, which arose in the second half of the 20th century, is directly adjacent to Aspang-Markt to the southwest . In the Franziszeischen cadastre from 1820 this place is only built up by a few individual settlements.
