Sooss is a village and a cadastral municipality in the market town of Hürm in Lower Austria.

The village is five kilometers west of Hürm on the L106 state road. On January 1st, 2020 there were 141 inhabitants in Sooss.

A "Hermann de Sazze" can be traced back to 1147 on the current castle ruins, which is located immediately to the west of the Sooss Castle Park . The castle itself is used as an agricultural college. In the Franziszeischen cadastre from 1822 Sooss is recorded with the castle and several scattered homesteads.
