Choir

The portal of the west facade was redesigned in the 16th century in the Renaissance style. It is round-arched and framed by pilasters and an entablature . The open porch was added in the 17th century. It is covered by a curved roof and supported by two pillars and two monolithic columns.

The square bell tower covered by a gable roof is attached to the south aisle. Like the outer walls of the church, it is supported by massive buttresses, which gives it a defensive impression. On both sides of the gable and on all four sides of the upper floor high, ogival twin arcades open up .

To the east is the choir , built around 1555 on a rectangular floor plan , which is also structured by buttresses and broken up by slightly pointed windows.

The three-aisled nave was built in the 12th century. The first two yokes were originally flat and only later received their groin vaults with their pointed arches . From the original transept, a round arch is still preserved in the third bay, which opened to the south aisle. The fourth yoke, originally probably the choir, was changed around the middle or in the second half of the 12th century. From this period comes the ribbed vault and the pillars with their leaf capitals . The south aisle was redesigned in the 13th century. The choir, around which an ambulatory leads, is covered by a high dome with an eight-part ribbed vault.

Leaded glass window

The church has numerous stained glass windows from the 19th century. Some are provided with the signatures of the glass painter Charles Champigneulle (1853–1905) or Haussaire. On the window with the representation of Mary presenting the rosary to St. Dominic, the church of Saint-Pierre of Avon can be seen in the background. The window bears the signature: Ch. Champigneulle fils de Paris .
