description

The current shape of the hall church with a three-sided polygonal end in the east is essentially determined by the fundamental renovation or new construction in 1729–31. In 1756 a slender, 27 m high church tower was added to the east of the nave . It has a slate-roofed curly hood and a lantern in which the old steel hour bell hangs. A tower ball sits on the lantern . The nave is covered with a hipped roof with dormer windows . The building was repaired and completely refurbished in 1970-72. The altar , which was built around 1730, was removed. From the old church facilities that are late Gothic carved statues of St. Anne and get a Boniface, also a Madonna and Child and a crucifix from the late 17th or early 18th century. Werner Schubert made the relief and the base of the altar as well as the ambo from sandstone. The Stations of the Cross are also from him. There is space for around 200 people in the church. The right block has 8 rows of banks , the left block has 9 and under the gallery there are 6 and on the gallery 5. During World War I , the bells had to be delivered for armament purposes. In the 2nd World War only the Boniface bell was spared from delivery. Today the wooden belfry houses four bronze bells :
